This was one of those projects where a website needed to do a lot more than simply look good. DIGITALO Services created a substantial Divi WordPress website for the Older Women’s Network (Qld) Inc., bringing together more than 20 pages of carefully structured content, a bespoke branch finder, maps, galleries, blogs and a comprehensive events system, all wrapped in a website designed around the organisation’s existing brand.
The Project
The Older Women’s Network Queensland is a not-for-profit organisation supporting older women through a network of branches across Queensland. With a large amount of information, multiple locations, regular activities and events, the website needed to make a considerable amount of content easy to find and use.
The project involved creating a strong information architecture for the organisation, while also making the website welcoming, accessible and engaging for its audience. Visitors needed to be able to learn about OWNQ, discover their nearest branch, explore activities and events, read news and information, browse galleries and find ways to get involved.
A particularly important part of the project was the bespoke branch finder. Rather than simply presenting a list of locations, the website provides an interactive way for visitors to find branches and locations, with maps and directions helping them connect with their nearest OWNQ community.

The Result
The finished website provides OWNQ with a substantial digital home capable of supporting a complex and active organisation. Instead of forcing visitors to work their way through a maze of information, the website brings together branches, events, news, resources and organisational information in a clear and accessible structure.
The branch finder is particularly valuable, giving women an easy way to discover their nearest OWNQ branch and learn more about what happens there. The events system also gives the organisation a central place to promote its many activities across different Queensland locations.
This project is a great example of DIGITALO Services working well beyond a standard small-business website. It combines design, content strategy, SEO, WordPress development and bespoke functionality to create a website that supports the day-to-day needs of a substantial not-for-profit organisation.

A note about our portfolio
Our portfolio showcases websites as they were designed and developed by DIGITALO Services. Once a website is handed over, clients have full access to edit and manage their own content, so websites can change over time and the current live site may differ from the original design, content or layout shown here.
Some businesses and organisations featured in our portfolio may also have since closed, changed ownership, rebranded or moved to a different website, meaning the original website may no longer be online. We work with many new and small businesses and organisations, and unfortunately not every business remains in operation indefinitely. Where possible, we retain examples of our original work here to showcase the project as it was delivered.
